About Us

We are a traditional neighborhood school on the west side of Indianapolis. Included in our student population of just under 600 are two district programs in our Developmental Pre-Kindergarten and our Life Skills Classes for those students with challenging disabilities. Mental health services are offered to our families in-house through Hamilton Center, Inc. We also have strong partnerships with Eli Lilly, Mary Rigg, and Indy Parks. More than half of our student population also speak Spanish as a primary language. We are truly considered a neighborhood community school.

William Penn’s Mission

We are a safe, inclusive, learning environment where students are treated with equity while challenged with rigorous instruction that supports the social, emotional, and academic needs of ALL children..

William Penn’s Vision

Tigers will seek knowledge to reach their full potential as the builders and leaders of tomorrow.
