Mr. Fred Rice

I started playing tennis at about age 4 and at about age 8, I started playing in tennis tournaments.I have taught tennis throughout college and law school and returned to Indianapolis in 1977 to practice law – 38-year legal career. I am also the Co-Chair of the USTA Midwest Section Grievance Committee and a member of the USTA Constitution & Rules Committee. My Family includes Ellen M. Rice (wife); two sons – John, Portland, OR; and Edward, (wife-Hillary, and granddaughter-Frankie) Indianapolis, IN.

I have been teaching for IPS for over 15 years, my passion for students goes beyond the classroom. My goal is teach the students the game of tennis but also teach them about life lessons that will help them make productive choices in the future.
