I am excited to be joining the life skills team at Shortridge. I’m originally from San Francisco and grew up in Manila, Hong Kong, and Atlanta. During my school psychology graduate program, I observed a high school life skills class and knew immediately I wanted to teach special education.

I have taught in Atlanta, the Bay Area, and here in Indianapolis.  I enjoy working with high school students as they transition to adulthood and am passionate about giving my students opportunities to be as independent as possible.

My husband, Geoff, and I like to travel with our two children, Owen and Audrey.  I enjoy spending time in California, rooting for the San Francisco Giants, and spoiling our two dogs.
