Mrs. Linda Thomson
I am thrilled to be a part of the Shortridge family! Growing up in a bilingual household I learned both English and Spanish simultaneously, which is where my love of language began. I was in the first class to graduate through the Spanish Immersion program at Lawrence North in 2007. I then graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Spanish Education and a minor in Dance. I owned and operated a dance studio for 5 years before getting back into the classroom to teach Spanish. I have found the perfect balance between my love of Spanish with my passion for dance by being the dance team coach for Shortridge. I also still teach adult and high school hip hop and jazz classes at Amp Dance Family in Fortville. I am married to my best friend Nick and we have a 4-year-old dinosaur fanatic named Jameson. I love coffee, pizza, and sunglasses!
