Lt. Col (Ret) Ron Crane
I am the Senior Army Instructor for our school’s Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). I grew up in small-town rural Indiana until the age of 19 when I moved to Indianapolis. Since then, my experiences have taken me around the world. It was a rewarding experience spending 12 months in Khost Province, Afghanistan, working with village elders and governmental leaders.

Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, motorcycling, SCUBA diving, reading fiction, percussion, the Colts and the Cubs are my primary pastimes. I very much enjoy spending time on the road with my family, exploring the wonders of this great nation.

My credentials include 10 years of teaching, 29 years in the military, a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security and B.S. in Secondary Education – Social Studies and Special Education. I hold certifications in Teaching, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighting, Hazardous Materials Technician, and FEMA Disaster Response.
