I grew up in Indianapolis and attended Pike schools kindergarten through 8th grade and attended Brebeuf Jesuit for high school. I then attended Indiana University, where it took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. Nine years later, I finally decided that I wanted to be a teacher and started my teaching career at Cascade High School as a math teacher. After one year there, I moved to Brebeuf Jesuit as a resource teacher and went back to school and received my certification in special education. After nine years at Brebeuf, I’ve arrived at Shortridge, and I’m very excited to be back in the classroom!

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my two pitbulls, Bella and Nigel, playing tennis and ultimate frisbee, reading science fiction and fantasy, and hanging out with friends and family. During the summer you’ll find me on the tennis court teaching middle school and high school kids with NJTL and umpiring tennis matches for the USTA!
