As a teacher, my goal is to help students understand that the stereotypes and oppression they face do not define them.

My objective is to empower my students to overcome and invalidate stereotypes that negatively affect their ability to achieve their goals.

In 2020, I received my Art Education Degree from Herron School of Art and Design. I obtained two minors, one in Art History and another in Book Arts. During the school year I spend my time teaching MYP Visual Arts and coaching Cheer at Shortridge High School.

As a Shortridge Alumni and IB programme graduate, I find that art is an illustrious way to allow students to connect with each other while discussing and creating works based on religion, ideas, communities, values and morals.

My conceptual art projects highlight sensitive topics such as ableism, race, gender, and class.
