I am so excited to be a part of the Shortridge community this year as a social worker! After graduating with my bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, I taught middle school in Carmel for seven years. While I loved teaching and working with students, I realized that my passions are outside of the classroom and working to provide social emotional support for students and families. This is what motivated me to become a school social worker!

Education is incredibly important to me. I believe that students thrive in an environment that is focused on social justice, equity, and opportunity.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog Lucy, visiting my family in Chicago, hanging out with my friends, reading, and being outside!
