I began my professional career as the Assistant Director of Academic Support at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Afterwards, I worked with and for student-athletes with the NCAA and during that time I traveled to almost every Division I school in the country.  I’ve also worked with US Track & Field in athlete services and traveled around the world.

During my first year with IPS, I worked as a counselor with students in the Career Technology Center at Arsenal Technical High School. I enjoyed getting to know my students and helping them to develop academic plans that will prepare them for life after high school.

Personally, I am an avid sports fan with tennis, college basketball and college football as my top three sports.  Most of my vacations are to attend sporting events first, then be a tourist. I have attended the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.  In my spare time, I officiate all levels  of tennis including juniors and collegiate players.
