This is my second year at Shortridge High School serving as the Autism Nest teacher. I have a bachelors degree in special education from Olivet Nazarene University where I graduated from in May of 2018. I absolutely love working with high school students and find it to be so rewarding to help them become as independent and successful as possible.

I love spending time with family and I am best friends with my younger brother and sister. I was a collegiate track and field athlete and competed in the hammer, discus and shot put. I love sports (both watching and playing), working out, drinking coffee, spending time outside, and spending time with friends and family. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time at the lake, hiking, exploring Indy and going to local restaurants and coffee shops.

This year my goal is for my students to learn and grow in their self advocacy and independent living skills. I hope that my students acquire lifelong academic skills. I hope that my students look forward to coming to school each day knowing they are always important and cared for.
