At Shortridge, we endeavor to think freely, demonstrate intellectual vitality, and address needs and realities greater than ourselves. Are these goals your goals, too? Are you interested in International Baccalaureate programs, visual arts, or performing arts? Then you would be a great Blue Devil!
Shortridge High offers the internationally recognized International Baccalaureate (IB) program for students in grades 9-12 along with a variety of programs in the performing and visual arts, physical and health education, athletics and extracurricular life. The student body comes from all parts of the city and from more than 30 schools.

Shortridge offers several pathways for study. While all students complete the IB Middle Years Program in 9th and 10th grade, they can do so while choosing introductory pathway courses in the arts or communication. As 11th graders, students begin either the IB Diploma Program, a well-rounded academic program, or one of the IB Career-related Program pathways in the arts or communication. How to enroll:
Go to enrollindy.org, search for Shortridge, and select either or both of the Shortridge programs that show up in the list. All students at SHS have access to both programs, so you do not need to decide at this time which one you are applying to.
