Robert Lee Frost School 106

Welcome to Robert Lee Frost School 106, where our mission is to empower and educate all students to think critically, creatively, and responsibly. Our guiding vision believes in the potential of every student to be a leader and that everyone has their unique genius. We’re located in the heart of Indianapolis, and our doors open to students from Pre-K to Grade 6.

Our dedicated team, led by Principal Dwayne Lucas, believes in fostering a learning environment centered around high-quality instruction and data-driven decision-making. Principal Lucas brings over 14 years of experience in education and has made significant contributions in improving school culture and student learning environments.

In the 2024-25 school year, we are excited to announce that we will be transitioning into a STEM Academy, embracing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in a hands-on and engaging way. This new approach will empower our students to explore academic standards through real-world applications.

As Robert Lee Frost School 106 takes its exciting next step as a STEM Academy in the 2024-25 school year, we are preparing our students to be the leaders of tomorrow. Our curriculum will include Project Lead The Way (PLTW) courses like Medical Detectives, Automation and Robotics, and Green Architecture. In addition, our students will get to work with a dedicated Computer Science educator, where they will hone their engineering skills through the application of theory and design principles. We invite you to join us on this journey, as we build an innovative learning community grounded in critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world connections.
