All subject classes at George Washington are supported through a number of resources including laptops, IPAD program, online textbooks and resources, an online grade and assignment management system, and printed materials to support student learning. At the start of the year, students are issued textbooks through our library cataloging system (Destiny), and IPS leverages a fee for all textbooks.
Books are recorded as being issued to individual students. Upon return of the same book, responsibility is erased from the record system. Students will be charged for lost or damaged texts. All accounts including those for lost items must be cleared prior to a transcript being issued at the time of withdrawal.
All IPS students must pay textbook rental fees, unless you have been notified in writing that your child has been approved for textbook assistance for the current school year. Applications must be submitted each school year.
Applications for textbook assistance are provided by the school during enrollment and must be submitted every year. These applications can be received either from the school directly or contacting our FoodService department directly at 317.226.4772.
