Enrollment Resources & Information

What are IPS Choice Options

IPS Choice options are defined by a specialized curriculum, innovative themes and unique teaching techniques. Choice programs may encompass the entire educational offerings of a school, or may be defined as a particular curricular sequence or approach to instruction for a cohort of students within a school.

Enrollment in Choice Options

IPS participates in a citywide unified enrollment system run by Enroll Indy.  Families will complete one application, called OneMatch, to apply for all IPS Choice Options and IPS Innovation schools. This will ensure a simple, equitable, and transparent process that will help all families navigate the many school options they have in Indianapolis.

Enrollment in Pre-K Program

IPS offers Pre-K programs at many of our schools.

For the 2022–23 school year, IPS will continue to offer high quality, free, all day Pre-K. Families will be able to apply at up to ten different schools that offer Pre-K through the Enroll Indy Application Process.

Who is Eligible to Apply

  • Students who live in the IPS district and turn 4 years old on or before August 1, 2022 are eligible to apply.
  • Students who live outside of the IPS district, and turn 4 years old on or before August 1, 2022, can apply to IPS Montessori schools: Francis W. Parker School 56, George Washington Carver School 87, and Rousseau McClellan 91. However, out-of-district applicants will only be offered seats after in-district applicants have been offered seats.
