I have been working in Education for 11 wonderful years holding various roles! I started my career in IPS working as a 3rd teacher! I then moved into a Special Education position where I was able to work with students with mild/moderate disabilities! I have a strong passion for Educational Neuroscience and Trauma Informed Care, in which I am certified through Butler University! This passion has given me more opportunities such as being an Alternative Behavioral Special education Teacher and RTI Specialist, focusing on SEL work for both teachers and students.
In my free time, I love to be outdoors or with family! I have a blonde miniature dachshund whose name is Daisy! I am a huge Indiana University fan and try to attend as many sporting events as possible with my family!
I am excited to be back in IPS, especially serving my second year as CFI 27 Assistant Principal! I look forward to getting to know the CFI way and meeting and collaborating with all students, families and community members!
