I was born and raised on the west side of Indy and decided to make a major change and move to the country!! I am a US Army veteran, a lover of dogs, and teaching (and learning) is my absolute passion. I am proud to begin year 6 with CFI 27! I began as 1:1 support for a student in Life Skills and found my passion in Special Education.. I then spent 4 years in Life Skills as an Instructional Assistant and worked as an SEL teacher for MYP and Interventionist for PYP. I am now the current 5th and 6th grade Special Education Inclusion Teacher. I am the very proud mom of a 12 year old son who also attended CFI 27 for 5 years. I am recently married and am blessed with 2 beautiful bonus daughters. I love to read, hike, and enjoy true-crime podcasts and documentaries.
