A proud member of the Center for Inquiry network, nurturing globally-minded, socially responsible lifelong learners through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.

We are a part of the Indianapolis Public Schools community of schools serving grades K through 8.

Welcome to the Center for Inquiry School 27, a leading International Baccalaureate School in Indianapolis, committed to nurturing globally-minded, socially responsible learners. Established in 1993, CFI has grown to serve over 1,600 children across four campuses with innovative strategies like discussion, reading, writing, and collaborative projects.

Under the dynamic leadership of Principal Hilary Duvall, our school at 545 East 19th Street offers an enriched curriculum that focuses on local and global issues. We invite you to explore our Primary Years Programme (PYP) for grades K-5 and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-8. Together, we’ll foster a love for learning, inquiry, and community service.
