A Unique District Lending Library
Alice’s Loaners is the legacy of former IPS librarian Alice Vertner, who founded the lending library over 30 years ago with 25 classroom sets of books. Under the longtime stewardship of IPS catalogers Debbie Galan and Becky Caruthers, the library grew to include nearly 700 class sets of books, over 100 unabridged audiobooks, and over 3,000 instructional DVDs.
Alice’s Loaners is currently operated by the district media specialist, Joe Troyer.
For questions, Mr. Troyer can be reached troyerj@myips.org.
