Butler University – As the Butler University Laboratory School we have a very tight relationship with the Butler College of Education. There is and will continue to be a strong presence of Butler trained student teachers at our school. Our school also has a Butler College of Education classroom located on-site. Block A, a 15 credit hour methods block course is taught at the Lab School and the students from Block A have field experiences in our classrooms.
AYS – AYS has been our before and after school care provider since we opened our doors. Their focus is on health, literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) through homework help; gym and outdoor recreation; group games and activities; enrichment opportunities.
PNC Bank – PNC Bank has donated $100,000.00 to support our preschool collaboration with St. Mary’s and our staff development initiatives.
Dow Chemical Company – A $12,000.00 grant from Dow allowed us to expand our outdoor education center. We added six raised garden beds, a garden shed with an attached outdoor classroom, an orchard, and an elaborate composting system. In addition to financial support, Dow provided 50 volunteers on a day of service to help us install all of the new material.
