Sunday Evening Phone Message for 2.17.20

  • Mission moment: Our mission is inspiring children to change the world. Ms. Kline’s 2nd graders are exploring the many different ways people express themselves, and without being asked, students have been researching at home how to greet each other in different languages and sharing what they’ve learned with their classmates at school! Keep it up Ms. Kline’s class!
  • On Wednesday, March 4 we will have our Parents In Touch Day. Students will not attend school on this day. Information about how to sign up to meet with your students teacher was sent home in Friday folders this week.
  • Pennies for Patients: Thank you to all the students and families that donated during our Pennies for Patients fundraising campaign. The money collected helps fund cancer research for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Congratulations to our top 3 classrooms- in third place Miss Spitale’s 5th grade class, in 2nd place Miss Spence’s Kindergarten class, and the top fundraising class was Mr. Henderson’s first grade class. With all the online and donation boxes, our school raised over $1,500.00!!! Thanks also to the 6th & 7th grade leaders that were part of the coin counting committee. Together we are saving lives! Great job Hero Squad!
  • Help keep our teachers and friends from getting sick. Keep your child home until his or her fever has gone without medicine for 24 hours.
