Sunday Evening Phone Message for 1.19.20

  • There is no school for students tomorrow Monday January 20th in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Tuesday January 21st is a professional development day for teachers so there is no school for students. We will see students back at school on Wednesday the 22nd.
  • We have a Boltdog Booster Parent Meeting this Wednesday at 6pm in the cafeteria.  Agenda Items include the Bulldog Bash, Reggio information from Ms. Pokrandt, and a principal’s update from Mrs Kent. We’re also hoping to have the new staff lounge open for some tours so you can see the work of our Environment Committee!
  • Families, we are excited to announce that we have officially kicked off our Pennies for Patients program. Your child will be coming home with their own collection box and a flyer that explains how they can be part of the Hero Squad. Money will be collected from classrooms each Friday. When heroes work together, we can change cancer!
  • We have a Middle School Girls Basketball game at home on Wednesday, January 22.  It starts at 6:15pm.
  • We have an Elementary Girls Basketball home game on Thursday, January 23.  It starts at 6:15pm.
  • Please remember that hoodies are not permitted in classrooms per the IPS dress code. Students can wear solid colored sweaters or sweatshirts without hoods. For the complete dress code please visit myips.org, click the students and families tab, and then click uniforms. We appreciate your support in sending students to school in uniform each day.
