- Our school’s mission is inspiring children to transform the world. This week’s mission moment goes to Ms. Spence and Ms. Cusick’s kindergarten classes. Our kindergarteners have been making super reader capes and thinking about community heroes. How can you be a community hero?
- We have been relaxed on our school policy about transportation changes and we need your help. If your child’s transportation is changing for the day (bus to car or car to bus) you must send an email/note to the teacher in the morning before school AND/OR call the office with the change no later than 2:30 p.m. Changes after 2:30 cannot be honored. If there is no note or phone call to inform us of a transportation change, we will follow the usual mode of transportation for the child. We will not allow transportation changes through word of mouth from the students. This week we will be giving a grace period and reminding families who call after 2:30 about our policy. Starting Monday December 9th we will not honor any transportation changes after 2:30 pm. This policy helps us to ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for all students thank you for your support.
- We are having an open house for prospective families on December 11th from 6-7:30. If you know someone who is interested in our school please share this date with them!
- Join us for a Dine-In at Chipotle in Broad Ripple on Dec 9th from 4-8pm. Chipotle will donate 33% of their sales for anyone who mentions the Boltdog Booster fundraiser! Please share with others in your community.
- The Teacher Support Committee is continuing to collect $25 gift cards for our teachers this holiday season. If you’d like to contribute please bring them to the office or reach out to Barb Wylie for more info at bwylie1@ivytech.edu
