Sunday Evening Phone Message for 11.24.19

  • Our school’s mission is inspiring children to transform the world.  This week’s mission moment highlights the students, families, and teachers from both Lab Schools that attended the Red for Ed rally at the Statehouse last Tuesday and used their voices to advocate for our school and public education as a whole.
  • We are excited to announce that Ms. Crissy Phillips is our new Assistant Principal at School 55. Ms. Phillips has been at School 55 for 19 of her 20 years in IPS. We are thrilled that she is stepping into this leadership role. Please join us in congratulating her!
  • Kids Art and Club Scientific for K-5 are starting new sessions on Dec. 2. Flyers went home in friday folders. 
  • We have many students right now with overdue library books. Please take a look at home for any school library books that you have and send them back to school with your child! 
  • Join us for a Dine-In at Chipotle in Broad Ripple on Dec 9th from 4-8pm. Chipotle will donate 33% of their sales for anyone who mentions the Boltdog Booster fundraiser! Please share with others in your community.
  • The Teacher Support Committee is continuing to collect $25 gift cards for our teachers this holiday season. If you’d like to contribute please bring them to the office or reach out to Barb Wylie for more info at bwylie1@ivytech.edu
  • Thanksgiving Break starts this Wednesday November 27th. We will see students back at school on Monday December 2nd. On behalf of all of our staff, we wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!
