Sunday Evening Phone Message for 9.29.19

  • Mission Moment: Our seventh graders went to the central library this week to hear Elizabeth Acevedo share her inspiring story of becoming an author and poet. The students are working with Ms. Sjoerdma and a local Indy artist who is also a 55 parent to craft their own poems to share their identities with the world!
  • Thank you to all families who attended conferences last week! We loved seeing you in the building and connecting with you about your student’s progress. If you didn’t have a conference please reach out to your teacher. It’s our goal to reach every family!
  • Here are our Athletic Program updates for this week:

    • The first round of baseball tournaments starts on Oct. 2, 2019 at Forest Manor Park. The game starts at 5:45pm.
    • Boys Basketball Registration for boys in grades 4-5 and Middle School is now open and will close on Oct. 1, 2019. Information went home in Friday Folders.
