• Thanks to all who came out to our parent booster club meeting last week. Our booster club is overseen by a governing council. Currently we have 3 positions to fill. We have two at-large seats and we are also looking for a financial director. If you are interested in these positions you can email boltdogboosters55@gmail.com . 
• Middle school curriculum night and social for students as well as PreK Curriculum night are on August 28th at 6!
• The PreK night is an adults only night to learn about the school year. 
• The middle school night is for parents and students. It will be an opportunity for students to socialize and to get information about the year. Pizza and ice cream will be provided for the middle school event. We will be selling spirit wear! We can accept cash or check. 
• On August 28^th as a part of middle school curriculum night will have a representative from 21^st Century Scholar come to speak about the program and help parents of 7^th grade students fill out an application for their child. The 21^st Century Scholar program provides income-eligible students the opportunity to earn a scholarship that covers up to four years of tuition and regularly assessed fees. The 21^st Century Scholars program supports students and families by providing them with the tools they need to prepare for college, graduate on time and start toward a successful career path. Students brought home a brochure with more information about the program last week. 
• There is no school on September 2nd for Labor Day or September 3rd. September 3rd is a professional development day for Teachers, Students do not attend.
