Sunday Evening Phone Message 10.21.18

  • Report Cards will be going home next week. If you have students in other IPS schools you may receive their report cards this week. We experienced some technical issues with entering grades so our report cards will be ready next week.
  • Please join us on Wednesday, October 24th at 6pm for an information session about our report cards. We use a non-traditional grading scale at the Lab School. Come to learn all about how to read and understand your child’s report card! We hope to see many of you there.
  • You should have received information on Friday before fall break about the b chess club, boys basketball for grades 4-6, cheerleading (grades 2-3) that will start after fall break. Please return registration forms for these activities as soon as possible.
  • Picture day is this Thursday, October 25th. Students do not have to wear their uniforms on picture day!
  • Thursday, October 25th at 6 is our last home volleyball game of the season. Come out and support the boltdogs in their final game.
  • The holidays are quickly approaching, and Butler Lab 55 has resources available to support families. We have 30 Thanksgiving baskets being delivered for pick-up on Thursday November 15. We have the Clothe-A-Child program happening on Thursday December 6 that can accommodate 60 students. Both of these opportunities are being sponsored by Northminster Presbyterian Church. If you are interested in more information or interested in applying for either of these opportunities, please contact the school counselor, Aaron Munson, by calling the school or emailing him at munsonaj@myips.org. Both programs are on a first-come, first-served basis.
