Mr. Baugh has a track record of school turnaround success. Most recently, Lew Wallace Elementary School was the highest performing school on the WIDA access test for growth across the District. Additionally, Mr. Baugh and his staff helped advance Lew Wallace Elementary School from the second lowest performing school in the State of Indiana to 13th overall out of 42 elementary schools in IPS, and surpassed more than 318 schools in Indiana. While at Phalen Leadership Academy, Mr. Baugh was responsible for creating a model of instructional excellence which resulted in 98% of the third grade students passing IREAD3 in year one, and 100% in year two. While at Mill Creek, Principal Baugh and team achieved a 91% pass rate in grades 3-5 passed the English Language Arts portion of ISTEP+, and 93% of students passed the Math. Mill Creek West Elementary met AYP six years in a row, was named a DOE Four Star School multiple years and identified within top 10% of high performing Indiana schools. Mr. Baugh earned a M.S. in School Administration from Butler University in 2004, and a B.A. in Music Education from Indiana State University in 2000.

Hello!!! My name is Mr. Brandon Warren, and I am the proud assistant principal of Brookside Elementary. I am looking forward to getting to know and learning alongside you this school year. I am a firm believer that all can learn and are capable and able to achieve a college degree- it starts here with the work we will embark upon this school year!!!  I have been in the field of education for thirteen years.  I have taught grades 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6ththroughout my time in the classroom. As an MCL (Multi-Classroom Leader), I have had the privilege of coaching teachers in in 3rd, 5th, 6th, and middle school. I am excited to embark on this journey with you
