Technical Glitch May Impact Some Students During Remote Learning on Monday

IPS Families:

We are looking forward to the start of the 2020–21 school year tomorrow, Monday, August 17. As we begin full remote learning, we want to ensure you are aware of an issue that emerged on Friday afternoon that may impact your student’s remote learning experience tomorrow.

When teachers and students are engaging through Microsoft Teams, all teachers will be able to hear their students but some teachers may not be able to see their students. Likewise, while students will be able to see and hear their teacher, they may not be able to see other students. 

All accounts are currently being updated to correct this issue over the next several hours, and we expect all student accounts to be updated by Tuesday morning. 

Teachers will continue with instruction through Microsoft Teams as planned for the first day of school tomorrow, Monday, August 17.
