Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) will award diplomas to 49 students Sept. 28 during the Class of 2022 Summer Graduation ceremony.

The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Gene R. Poston Auditorium at Broad Ripple High School. Doors will open to guests at 5:15 p.m.

The annual program is for students who complete their graduation requirements during and after the summer school session. This year’s program includes graduates from Arsenal Tech, Crispus Attucks, and George Washington high schools.

IPS superintendent Dr. Aleesia Johnson will welcome the audience. Dr. Michelle Jackson, executive director of teaching and learning, will give the keynote address.

The tassel ceremony will be directed by Dr. Johnson and Chief of Schools Officer Dr. Nathalie Henderson will provide closing remarks.
