If you’re a student seeking a behind-the-scenes look at the way state laws are made, check out this exciting opportunity: State Representative Robin Shackleford is looking for students from House District 98 to serve as pages this legislative session!

As a page, you will tour the Indiana Statehouse – seeing the Governor’s office, the House and Senate Chambers and more. If the General Assembly is in session on the day you serve as page, you will have the unique opportunity to watch our legislators in action through the floor proceedings of the Indiana House of Representatives. You will also meet Rep. Shackleford and other staff members serving our district in the state capitol building.

Students must be at least 13 years old to participate in the Indiana House Page Program; you must also provide your own transportation to the Statehouse. Pages are excused from school on their day of service to enjoy the full-day experience of our state government. You can find more information, including the Page Program online application, on the program’s website.
