The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
In 2008, Regions launched its Riding Forward scholarship to demonstrate its continued commitment to education and in celebration of Black History Month. With this year’s awards, Regions will have awarded more than $1 million in scholarships to nearly 300 students through the Regions Riding Forward Scholarship Essay Contest throughout our 15-state footprint.
The 2021 Regions’ Riding Forward Scholarship Campaign, Stories Worth Sharing, runs through March 31, 2021. In addition to this email, the Contest will also be promoted through the Bank’s digital marketing and social media. One other important note to share is this year’s marketing campaign will feature imagery created specifically for Regions by artist Candice Tavares.
Regions’ commitment to diversity, inclusion and education allows us to strive to inspire students to tell their Stories Worth Sharing and we hope that you will share this so these stories can be heard.
