Shortridge International Baccalaureate High School is kicking
off the new school year with a fun-filled community Block Party! Now is the
time to join our community partners and IPS families to enjoy some summer fun
at the new home of our IB magnet high school!

Shortridge is teaming up with Indiana Humanities to host an
ALL-IN Block Party on July 18. Join us for an afternoon with food trucks,
booths from dozens of community partners, live music and more!

One of only 17 sites across the state, Shortridge was chosen for
this partnership with Indiana Humanities. The Block Party will feature a series
of fun challenges designed to bring our students, families, staff and neighbors
together by learning more about Shortridge’s rich history and imagining new
ways to strengthen our community.

Students and staff have been working hard this spring and summer
to bring as many community partners together as possible for the big event, and
they’re looking forward to seeing you there.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to visit
Shortridge as a new IB high school focused on community engagement,” said
Principal Shane O’Day. “We’re excited to welcome alumni and long-time friends
along with new students and neighbors as we bring our community together to
celebrate the history and future of Shortridge.”

This is an exciting time for our IPS family, and we look forward
to welcoming students, staff, families and stakeholders to kick off this new
chapter in Shortridge’s story!
