The VEX IQ Judges Award Trophy This weekend Indianapolis Public Schools elementary, middle and high schools competed in the City of Indianapolis VEX Robotics Championship. Although, our teams didn’t walk away with any of the top prizes two teams came away from the event with something better.

Thomas D. Gregg School 15 and Sidener Academy each won a unique award during the proceedings.

Thomas Gregg won the VEX IQ Sportmanship Award for Elementary teams. The school was selected based on comments from other schools about the sportsmanship of the Thomas Gregg students.

Sidener Academy earned the Judges Award at the competition. This award is given to a team that the judges decide deserves special recognition. Judges consider a number of criteria for the award including exemplary effort and perseverance at the event and team accomplishments throughout the season.

Congratulations to all of our IPS robotics teams on their outstanding performances at the robotics competition!
