Indianapolis Public Schools is proud to announce that Center for Inquiry School 84, Sidener Academy for High Ability Students and Gambold Preparatory Magnet High School were named Four Star Schools by the Indiana Department of Education this week.
This honor is reserved for schools that are in the top percentile in two ISTEP categories and have qualified for an “A” from the state’s accountability system. Only 280 schools in the state earn the title of “Four Star School.”
“Sidener Academy is proud to be named a Four Star School,” Principal Tennille Wallace said. “Setting high expectations and going above and beyond each day for the students of IPS continues to be our mission.”
“This award is recognition of the accomplishments of our staff and students,” Center for Inquiry School 84 Principal Christine Collier said. “The staff is incredibly dedicated to ensuring the success of each student, the students take pride in their work and the parents provide continuing support. This brings out the best in all of us.”
We’re proud of our schools for earning this title from the IDOE and excited to see what’s in store for their programs in the years to come!
