The inspiring event is a celebration of the significance of family support in the educational achievement of our students.

All male role models – dads, grandpas, uncles, friends, and mentors – were invited to join students for a march around Riverside’s west side neighborhood to show their support as the school lifted up these important men in our students’ lives. IMPD Chief Rick Hite even took part in the exciting event!

“Everything was great, and we had a lot of community support,” said Riverside Principal Kirshawndra Davis. “It’s important to promote the importance of male figures in our children’s education.”
