FSSA’s Division of Family Resources issued Summer 2022 pandemic EBT or “P-EBT” on Monday, July 18, 2022.
If you already have a P-EBT card, there is no need for you to take additional action or submit an address change.
How were the qualifying students identified?
Parents need not apply; schools are asked to report all eligible students. The parent/student data for those to receive a P-EBT card was provided by the IPS IT department via PowerSchool to Indiana Families and Social Services Administration (FSSA). These funds were mailed to the primary address families had on file in PowerSchool.
If your family has not received a P-EBT card and was enrolled in IPS during the designated time frame, then you can update your mailing address with FSSA HERE. Note: Only students who were included on the original upload can correct their address. No new names can be submitted using this form.
Will I receive a new P-EBT card or do I keep the previous P-EBT card?
If a family already received a card from a previous round they will not receive a new card but instead the state will electronically load the funds on the existing cards.
If I lost my card, how can I get a replacement?
Please submit the Address Change and Card Replacement form near the bottom of the P-EBT page on the FSSA Website HERE.
- Alternatively, parents can navigate to this page by visiting in.gov/fssa then select the P-EBT link on this page. The required form can be found near the bottom of this page.
- Submitting this form will trigger a re-send of your benefits card. The lost card will be frozen and its funds transferred to the new card. Please note that you should allow several weeks for a replacement card.
I have multiple IPS students in my house, but not all children received funds. What do I need to do?
The parent/student data for those to receive a P-EBT card was provided by the IPS IT department via PowerSchool to FSSA. These funds were mailed to the primary address families had on file in PowerSchool.
Parents will need to confirm that their contact information in PowerSchool is correct. Parents can also work with their respective school to ensure that their student information is accurate for future distributions.
How much will my student receive in benefits?
The benefit amount is determined by the school based upon the number of days the student participated in virtual learning, was in quarantine, or was out of school due to COVID-19 illness.
What are the dates for distribution?
FSSA’s Division of Family Resources issued Summer 2022 pandemic EBT or “P-EBT” on Monday, July 18, 2022.
If you already have a P-EBT card, there no need for you to take additional action or submit an address change. Your current card should have the summer benefits loaded as of July 18. Because of the overwhelming number of requests and duplicate request FSSA’s online system has been receiving, the system is working very slowly and may take longer to process than you expect. Please do not fill out the form a second time. Indiana FSSA apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks you for your patience.
Future distribution dates will be added as they are shared from FSSA.
How do I change my address (if it’s incorrect in PowerSchool) and will a card be sent to my new address?
If your family has not received a P-EBT card and was enrolled in IPS during the designated time frame, then you can update your mailing address with FSSA HERE.
Note: Only students who were included on the original upload can correct their address. No new names can be submitted using this form.
