Aug. 5, 2016, is your last chance to participate in IPS’ 3rd Annual Open
one-stop shop for new and returning students enrolling into an IPS school is open from 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Aug. 5 in the John Morton-Finney Center for Educational
Services, 120 E. Walnut St., just north of downtown.
July 18, the Enrollment and Options team has served nearly 2,000 families. In the first three days of Open Enrollment, the team served twice
as many families as in the same time frame last year!

question you can bring to us as we ensure your family is all set to begin the
new school year. Questions and enrollment information for every IPS program,
from Pre-K to high school and our popular choice schools, can be addressed at
our Open Enrollment session. Bilingual assistants will be on hand to ensure
there are no barriers when it comes to preparing your students for success in

Enrollment and Options will help you enroll or transfer your children and
Health Services will be onsite to help with questions regarding your student’s
immunization records and requirements.
Transportation team will be onsite to assist with bus route information as they
prepare to safely drive your student to school and back home each day. A
seasoned bus driver will have one of our new, propane-fueled buses at the Ed
Center so you can check out the new on-board seat belts as well!
forget to prepare your paperwork in advance to ensure your trip downtown is as
swift as possible! You’ll need to bring these four pieces of information with
you to ensure a speedy and accurate process:
- Student’s original
birth certificate (no photocopies)
- Complete immunization
- Proof of residence (a
lease or utility bill showing your name and current address)
- Picture ID for the
parent or guardian
