Music Festival: 38 Ensembles from 15 Schools Set to Dazzle Audiences

Hundreds of high school and middle school students will perform in the Indianapolis School Music Festival starting on Tuesday.

Music ensembles from 15 Indianapolis Public Schools and surrounding districts perform March 12-14 at Arsenal Tech High School. The small ensembles are a mix of instrumental and choral students.

Following each performance, the ensemble will be able to interact with world-class evaluators during an educational clinic that will give them constructive feedback on their performance. Performances are free and open to the public.

“Music for All is committed to providing equity and access to active music-making for all students,” said James Stephens, senior director of education and advocacy at Music for All. “We are so grateful for our partnership with Indianapolis Public Schools and want to continue providing opportunities to showcase music in this community.”
