We all know college isn’t cheap; there are a lot of scholarship options out there, but knowing how to navigate the scholarship process is key to finding the funding you need for college. That’s why UNCF is hosting a scholarship workshop this month!

High school juniors and seniors, their parents, and guidance counselors are invited to attend this free informational session on Wednesday, September 23. Mary Williams, UNCF’s National Director of Outreach and Recruitment, will share valuable insight on how to approach the scholarship application process. Students, families, and counselors will walk away with new information on how to get the best recommendations to submit with your applications, and how to make yourself stand out in a large crowd of applicants.

Sponsored by the Alpha Kappa Alpha/ Alpha Mu Omega HBCU Program and MSD of Pike Township’s Pre-Collegiate Initiatives, the UNCF Scholarship Workshop is at the Pike Freshman Center (6801 Zionsville Road) from 6-7:30 p.m. on September 23. If you’re interested in attending, please RSVP at this link.
