Indianapolis Public Schools’ spring break meal service is off to a phenomenal start; our friendly foodservice staff served more than 550 meals during our breakfast and lunch opportunities today! We are honored to continue serving free healthy meals to our students while school is not in session. Spring break for IPS students continues through Friday, April 1.

IPS is proud to serve meals to our students at no cost during the school year, throughout all scheduled breaks and even when school is cancelled for inclement weather. Over the 2014-2015 school year and the following summer, the IPS Foodservice Department provided 68,813 meals to students over spring, fall and summer breaks, as well as snow days. All IPS students are invited to our select sites to enjoy free meals provided as an extension of the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program.
