Indianapolis Public Schools is dedicated to providing free
and nutritious meals to our students throughout the year — even when school is not
in session.

During spring break, March 20-31, IPS students will have
access to breakfast and lunch at 29 locations throughout the district. Meals
will be provided by our dedicated and friendly food service staff.

“We are fortunate
to have a superintendent who recognizes the importance of providing nutritious
foods to students even when school is out,” said Dena Bond, director of the IPS
Food Service Department. “This program allows all IPS students the
opportunity to have delicious meals, at no charge, year-round.”

In 2016, more
than 81,000 meals were served to children during summer, spring, fall and
winter breaks. IPS also serves meals on inclement weather days.
