To be eligible for an IPS preschool (also known as PreK), students must be four years old by September 1, 2016. Families must live within the district and provide their own transportation to school. The application window closes on January 25 and the lottery selection will run in late February. Remaining seats available after lottery assignments are complete will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
You can access our preschool application online. When enrolling a new student, families are required to submit the following information:
- Student’s birth certificate
- Complete and up-to-date immunization records
- Proof of residency (a utility bill with your name and address will suffice)
- Picture ID of the parent or guardian
You may submit these documents in person or by email; our enrollment specialists will contact you to complete the final steps in the process.
