The first day of school is August 1. Our Back to School website is filled with
helpful information for families
as our scholars prepare to return to our friendly halls, including school supply
lists and handbooks.

requirements for the 2016-2017 school year: All students entering Kindergarten,
First or Second Grade are required to have two doses of Hepatitis A vaccine
(Hep A). Additional
immunization information and details on local immunization clinics can be found
on our website. An
important note – after August 25, students whose immunization records are
incomplete will not be able to attend school until vaccine records are provided
by a guardian.

are thrilled to kick off the school year with an inspiring exclusive
partnership with Urban
Initiative, Inc.! The Rev. Dr. Preston Adams is
organizing high five rallies to start the day at our elementary schools with an
inspiring high five tunnel supported by local professionals. The
initiative begins on the first day of school (August 1) at Elder W. Diggs
School 42. Future rallies will take place on the following dates:
