Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) is looking for quality partners to launch an Innovation Network School for the 2018-19 school year. Innovation schools are public schools with expanded autonomy to make academic and operational decisions that will maximize student achievement.  Innovation schools also expand quality choices for all families.

IPS is excited to expand the application process to attract a broader pool of diverse applicants with innovative ideas. Any non-profit group, charter school operator, or individual may be eligible to launch a new school, restart an existing under-performing school or convert an existing school with strong performance and outstanding leadership. The IPS Board of School Commissioners will ultimately approve any agreement for the launch or transition to an innovation school.
