The leaves are turning. The air is getting more crisp. It’s October in Indianapolis! Our students may have just returned from fall break but that doesn’t mean the fall fun has to stop.
Check out some of the events below for safe, exciting Halloween fun!
Brookside School 54 Haunted House
The annual event at the east side school boasts a haunted house, costume contest and raffle! See how many Brookside staffers you can find while making your way through the haunted house! – October 24, 6:00 p.m.
Day of the Dead Festival at the Indiana State Museum
The museum gives visitors a chance to learn about the traditions and history behind El Dìa de los Muertos and to participate in the celebration. Visitors can join in hands-on activities, view the ofrenda exhibition and enjoy lively performances. – October 25
Fall Festival at Holliday Park
Roast marshmallows, go on a scavenger hunt and more at the Fall Festival at Holliday Park! – October 26, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
Haunted Conservatory at Garfield Park
Get spooked as you walk through this year’s Haunted Conservatory! It will be less scary from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and the real haunting begins at 7 p.m. (recommended for ages 8+). Make sure to check out other fun events at the Arts Center and Family Center as part of Ghoulish Garfield! – October 29 & 30
Scare in the Square
Bring your little ghouls & goblins and follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail to Fountain Square Merchants! October 31, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Safe Night Halloween Trunk or Treat at the State Fairgrounds
Join the Indiana State Fairgrounds for a FREE family fun night – Safe Night Halloween Trunk or Treat! The State Fairgrounds is honored to offer kids and parents a fun & safe place to spend Halloween with their families, local businesses and organizations all while learning about health & safety! – October 31, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
