job! Our first teacher recruitment opportunity for the spring has sparked some
exciting new connections, and we’re proud to report a great turnout! Our
principals and friendly Human Resources team welcomed 101 candidates to Arsenal
Technical High School for a Teacher Recruitment Fair last weekend; 91 of those
candidates came to us from outside of IPS! Candidates had an opportunity to
learn about the positions available for the coming school year, and interviews
were held on-site as well. As our HR team continues to carry out our district’s
commitment to staffing our schools with a diverse group of highly-qualified
professionals and appropriately staffing the areas of greatest need, the
following charts outline the diverse talents and demographics of the
