Magnet High School will celebrate its first Boys Basketball State Championship win
in 58 years with TWO celebrations on Monday, April 3, 2017.
The first is a Student
Celebration at 2 p.m. in the school gymnasium. The 30-minute event
will include the presentation of the team, along with remarks from team members
and Principal Lauren Franklin. The Attucks cheerleaders will also perform.
The second event, a Community
Celebration, starts at 5 p.m. — also in the school gymnasium. This
event will include the presentation of the team and remarks from several
invited guests, including Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, Indianapolis
Mayor Joe Hogsett and members of the Attucks alumni and Letterman’s Club. The
cheerleaders and band will also perform.
HOT 96.3FM DJ, B-Swift,
will emcee both events.
