Inaugural fundraiser supports
scholarships for IPS students through high school and college

The Indianapolis
Motor Speedway’s Mark Miles, WTHR sports reporter Jason Spells and CBS4’s news
anchor Bob Donaldson will join Indianapolis Public Schools Superintendent Dr.
Lewis D. Ferebee, business leaders and individual supporters at our inaugural IPS Golf Classic.

On Aug. 26, avid
golfers — even several novices — will descend upon the picturesque Brickyard Crossing Golf Course for a day of fun, food and a little friendly
competition for a worthy cause. But we couldn’t make it happen without our
title sponsor, Faegre Baker Daniels!

Proceeds
from the IPS Golf Classic will support scholarships for our Career
Technology Center
students.
The center, located at Arsenal Technical High School, is a rewarding and
exciting program that educates and prepares IPS students to graduate from high school as trade
professionals via 15 different career pathways or to enter post-secondary
educational careers.

CTC
scholarships have been identified to assist with high school students’
academics, as well as for college or career transition. Supported by businesses
throughout our community, CTC graduates often become major entrepreneurial and economic
contributors to Indianapolis.

The IPS Golf Classic is helping to provide CTC students
with the additional support they to need thrive.

Register now to join us as an individual player, a team or a sponsor! The
IPS Golf Classic promises to be a great time! With your support, the inaugural
fundraiser can become an annual event.
