Grace Hammon earns Butler scholarship. It’s unusual to see Grace Coleman out in the halls during regular class time; the Broad Ripple High School for the Arts and Humanities Senior is dedicated to her course work. But it’s that commitment to excellence that caused her to be pulled out of class for a very special announcement earlier this month. Grace received a full tuition scholarship to Butler University!

She received the Butler VIP treatment as school mascot Trip came to Broad Ripple to deliver the good news. Grace’s family was also waiting to surprise their star student. They’re glad to know she’ll be able to get an education without worrying about student debt down the line.

“It’s so great that she received this scholarship,” said Grace’s mother, “because she’s planning to go to Butler no matter what!”

An accomplished musician and scholar, Grace intends to major in both Vocal Performance and Accounting. We wish her the best and know she’ll represent Broad Ripple and IPS well as she becomes a bulldog!
