Students from
Broad Ripple Magnet High School for the Arts and Humanities performed April 28
and 29 at the 2017 Rotary Better Together
District Conference
.

 

Held inside the Children’s
Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Illinois St., more than 200 Rotary Club members
participated in the conference, said Dale Basham, conference chair.

 

The Broad Ripple String
Orchestra performed during Friday night’s festivities, while other student
musicians, including a soloist and a saxophone quartet, performed in between
the workshops on Saturday.

 

Basham said the
students showcased their talents and were able to network throughout the conference.

 

Rotary
is an international service club, with more than 1 million members and
35,000-plus clubs. “Our real passion and mission is to serve our communities,
serve our country and to serve our world above self,” said Basham.
